STUDENT PARTICIPATION:

This course does not exist solely in a textbook. A major part of your learning experience will occur through investigating and interacting in the classroom. By the very nature of this course, your success depends on your DAILY participation and classroom contributions. Because a significant portion of this course is a laboratory experience, it can not be duplicated at home through an alternative assignment. Consequently, there is no substitute for regular attendance and participation.
